Honoring the Life and Memory of Hector M. Aponte

Our beloved Hector suddenly passed on 7/2/23. Hector was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who touched the lives of those around him.

Hector Manuel Aponte was born on October 23, 1980 in Christiansted, St. Croix, with roots in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. He was an island boy at heart and relocated to the Bronx, New York in his early teenage years and quickly adapted to the east coast swag. He later relocated to the Bay Area where he met his wife Karina in December 2015 where their love story began. They recently married on 9/10/22 at a magical destination wedding in the Dominican Republic surrounded by their family and friends. Although, they fell short of celebrating their one year wedding anniversary, they made their house into a home full of love with their fur baby Ghost and recently their new addition Nala. Hector was an avid sports fan who loved the NY Yankees, SF 49ers, NY Knicks, SJ Sharks, among others. Hector will be remembered for having the biggest heart, a contagious laugh and could talk about just anything from anime to sports to history to shoes to collectibles to movies, you name it.

We are asking graciously for a donation of support to put together a celebration of life in his honor. This will not be a goodbye, but rather see him later as we will meet again.
