Honoring the life and memory of James Fields
Donation protected
James Michael Fields was a long and strong fighter of astrocytoma brain cancer. After 9+ years of fighting, at the age of 35, James succumbed to complications of his condition June 27, 2023. A true man of faith and family, unfortunately James was unable to procure life insurance and leaves behind a young wife (Kailei Fields) and two children Tyrese (15) and Soraya (10).
The family of James is asking for $25,000 to assist with funeral costs including a plot and headstone. James was, and still is, a beloved member of his community. An excellent wood working artist who made countless of unique handmade goods for family and friends. James was also on his way to starting classes to become a Major League Baseball recruiter as baseball was his first love.
To know James is to know his infectious laugh, upbeat spirit, and devotion to his wife and children. Always making the best of his circumstances he was the life of any party and never without a kind or encouraging word. He beat many of odds, was able to watch his children grow, and provide a beautiful home for his family despite his condition.
Should we exceed our goal, the remaining funds will serve to assist his wife and children pay off medical bills and expenses. Tyrese is preparing for college as a post-secondary student at a local community college and a jr. in high school, and Soraya is preparing to enter 5th grade and is active in dance.
James Michael Fields was and forever will be a blessing to his family, his friends, and his community. He has left us all with a beautiful legacy of resilience, love, and strength. We thank you for your support during this time of transition.
