Honoring the Life & Memory of Bill Englert

On 6/20/23, Bill Englert passed after battling a severe illness.

We are raising money to help Becki Reiner and Poe Englert give Bill a loving celebration of life service.

Bill was a Special Education teacher for nearly twenty years at the Gersh Academy on Long Island. He was beloved by students and staff for his breadth of knowledge, charismatic teaching style and endless wit.

He leaves behind many students, friends, a large extended family, three sisters, his mother and Becki with whom they shared 9 year old Penelope Shaw "Poe".

It's important to his family that we be able to allow Poe to see Bill be given a beautiful send-off so she can process this terrible loss and understand how many people loved her dad.
