Beloved Mother and Wife, Evelia Padilla

It is with a heavy heart that I make this gofundme. On February 22, my mother, Evelia Padilla, passed away due to lung complications after an almost 2 month long battle with Covid-19.

Anyone that knew my mother would vouch for her considerate and loving personality. She was always the first person to get on the phone and start a conversation when she knew someone was hurting. She always had an open-mind, and never held a grudge even when we would question why she didn’t.

Evelia was just under 2 months from turning 53 years old at the time of her passing. This is a kind of pain that our family would never wish upon anyone. She was a wonderful mother that anyone would love to have & a loving and faithful wife. She truly was the glue in our family. My family and I are devastated to have had lost her so suddenly.

She was an inspiring role model to my older brother and I, in terms of settling differences and extending your hand because life can be very very unpredictable. She taught us that it is never worth it to hold a grudge, but rather we should set aside any differences in an attempt to rekindle relationships that at times can be difficult.

Evelia Padilla was loved by many and she will be greatly missed.

Any and all donations are appreciated heavily. The funds will be used for funeral & medical expenses.

Because of difficult financial times, our mother did not have medical insurance for the majority of her stay at the hospital. This is why we made a GoFundMe. Any left-over amount of money will be donated to St. Judes Hospital on behalf of our Mother.
