Honoring the Life of Jesse Moreno
We are devastated at the sudden loss of our beloved brother, uncle and dear friend Jesse Moreno. He passed away on July 14, 2021. Jesse adored his family, friends, coworkers, superiors and his customers. He took great pride in being the best at everything he did especially his job as a Server at Crossroads Kitchen. He was passionate about providing the utmost dining experience to his customers. He made it a point to learn everything there was to know about the cuisine, the wine and anything related to his career. He had a huge heart and never met a stranger. To have known Jesse was to love him. He had a beaming smile that would light up any room. He will be greatly missed by all especially his family who lost him at the age of 46. Needless to say, they are heartbroken.
Sadly, Jesse lost his sister Dalia to Covid last October. The family is still grieving from that loss and has now been dealt another blow to the heart. He is survived by his eldest sister Nancy and his sister Queen. Queen is disabled due to a brain operation in 2018. She and her daughter Prue relied heavily on Jesse for assistance and support as they all shared an apartment in the LA area.
Although Jesse's heart was in California, his parents are buried in his native Texas, where he wished to be laid to rest.
Jesse was so loved that many of his classmates from OLLU in San Antonio, coworkers, friends, colleagues and customers asked for a way to contribute to memorialize this wonderful human that left us too soon. Therefore, we created this page in order to assist with the funeral expenses, memorial in LA as well as services in Texas.
A memorial service will occur on August 6, 2021 in LA. More details will follow. The service in Texas has not yet been finalized but will be announced here.
Thank you and much love from the family of Jesse Moreno.
