Honoring the Life of Noni Olabisi

Noni Olabisi is a well-known muralist who dedicated her artistic energy to listening to the voices of the unheard and representing their narrative in her artwork. Her murals articulate the hunger for justice in South Los Angeles's communities. On Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 Noni suddenly passed away while in her home in Los Angeles, California. This news is a shock to us all, as she has touched the lives of so many. As a community, we are coming together to aid her family as they now have to prepare to lay their loved one to rest. It is a goal to honor our beloved Noni's life with monetary gifts to meet any financial needs her family will encounter during this time of grief. For those who knew her, experienced her, and loved her, let's do all we can to reach this goal to ensure her family is burden-free of funeral expenses and can move forward with this new living change. We will continue to pray for strength and unity as we all pull together and honor the life of a giant who lived amongst us named Noni "Black" Olabisi.
