Honoring the Life of Sharmaine Bell-Brooks
Donation protected

My name is Diamond, and Sharmaine was and is one of the most beautiful souls that I have been blessed to have known. If you also had the pleasure to know and love my sister-cousin, then you know that she is one of the most solid and most loyal people on this beautiful earth. I pray that we can all be half as solid of a person, sister, cousin, daughter, mama, and friend as she was to myself and countless others.
I know that life goes on, but she had so much more life to live and plans for she and her girls, Harmoni and Egypt. Unfortunately, struggles with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) slowed our girl down a bit, but she was determined to fight with fire as she had previously navigated a similar experience with CHF when her brother Antonio passed some years ago. One thing is for certain and two things are for sure, though, Sharmaine Juanita Denise Marie Bell-Brooks was not a quitter and she fought long and hard to get back to full health. She may have lost the battle, but she won the war with her bravery, courage, and steadfast stewardship for the Lord.
To the broader world she was Sharmaine. To those of us who really knew her she was Bone, she was Mack Maine, she was Jetlife, and she was quintessentially that fearless, bold woman that we all hope to aspire to in this life. Where friends and faith faltered, she was there. Through heartbreak, she was there. Despite all of our own grief for her untimely situation, she was still there.
Please keep her children Harmoni and Egypt as well as her broader family in your prayers. Though she is not here with us physically, she will always be here in spirit. Our family would kindly accept your support to cover the cost of funeral and memorial services and needs to ease some pain during this challenging time. Any residual funds will go towards her children and their care as they work through completing their high school educations and other life goals. If you would like to support in any additional ways, please feel free to reach out to me personally.
I can only imagine the glee she's experiencing up there being back with her Mema and her brother Tone. We love you! Long Live Mack Maine.
