Honoring the lives of Danielle, Journee, & Kelsee

On Friday, April 28, 2023 our lives were changed forever.  Our beloved Danielle “Dannie” Havens (50), Journee Miles (11), and Kelsee Miles (9) were tragically taken from us in a fire that spread in their Brooklyn apartment. Everyone in the building made it out alive, but unfortunately they did not.

Journee and Kelsee were not only superstar, talented scholars to everyone around them, but they were also the leading stars in Danielle’s life. You couldn’t hold back a laugh, smiles, or even the urge to dance when blessed to be in their presence. They will all be sorely missed.

Our family is fundraising to help defray memorial costs as we bury our three loved ones and to care for their family dog, Oreo, who survived the fire. All funds will be distributed to Justin Havens, the eldest child of Danielle Havens to pay for funeral arrangements and costs associated with the loss of his family members.
