Honoring the Memory of Neil Schmitt
Donation protected
Neil was the heart and provider of his home, a place where he lovingly raised his children, and later, his niece and nephews. Even as his own kids grew up and left, he continued to open his heart and home to more children, fostering for over 25 years. When he became a grandfather, his warmth extended to caring for his own grandchildren.
Presently, Ann and Neil find themselves with the responsibility of four grandchildren, along with a teenager and a young adult. Neil, being self-employed, couldn't afford life insurance, making his sudden loss impactful not just emotionally but also financially. It's not just about stability; it's about losing a rock in their family.
Compounding their challenges, Ann has bravely fought multiple myeloma for eight years, preventing her from working and taking a toll on her ability to be more than a caretaker for her family. We reach out to you from the depths of our hearts, seeking your support to help this family navigate the coming days, bridging the gap until they can figure out what life will look like without their beloved husband, father, and Grandpa, Neil. Your kindness will make a world of difference as they embark on this journey of healing and adjustment.
