Honoring the memory of Roger Hager

My name is Casey Lambert, I am a close friend of the Hager Family as well as being one of the Lower School PTO Presidents. On behalf of the PTO, American Heritage Schools and Roger's family, we thank you for helping to honor Roger's memory by contributing to the future needs of his wife, Gigi and son, RJ.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Roger Hager, on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

Saturday, June 29th, Roger suffered a massive heart attack that he was not able to recover from.

Roger was an amazing husband to Gigi and father to RJ, a rising 7th grader at American Heritage.

Roger was one of the most well known security guards at American Heritage, Palm Beach Campus by students, parents and colleagues. A lot of you know Roger as the smiling face, waving to you or giving your kids a high five out the window every morning as you entered the East gate of the American Heritage Campus. He was also always there to offer a ride to your car from campus when you parked far or when it was hot out or raining. Roger was always there to lend a hand. If you don't know Roger, I assure you that your kids do! He would always drive around campus with a smile and say "Hi" to all of the students along the way! When Roger wasn't working, he devoted his time to his family. He went to every basketball game and practice for their son, RJ, and was always rooting him on from the sidelines.

To honor the memory of Roger Hager, we have started this GoFundMe to benefit Roger's wife and son as they navigate this very sad and challenging time and plan for their future.
