Honoring Thomas Maltby: Help with Final Costs

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Thomas Maltby, on October 5 2024. He touched the lives of so many with his kindness, love, and unwavering support. As we navigate through this difficult time, we want to celebrate his life and legacy.

He passed with this family holding him while we played his favorite songs, the final song being Blackbird by The Beatles. Tom was a huge supporter of all things music, and even named his eldest daughter, myself, Melody in honor of that love. It only felt right that he left this world listening to the songs that brought him joy, being surrounded by those who filled his life with more love then he imagined.

We are organizing a fundraiser to assist with the end-of-life expenses, including memorial services, medical costs, and support for the family during this transition. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on honoring my dad, Tom, in a way that reflects the love he shared with all of us.
