Honoring Tim McDermott's Legacy: A Community Effort

On Saturday, December 14, the world lost a special man. Tim McDermott, grew up in Quakertown PA, and raised his daughter, Brianna, in the Upper Perkiomen community. Tim committed countless hours to both communities through his love of sports and commitment to charities that he was passionate about. Tim grew up playing sports in his hometown of Quakertown, but was probably best known as The Voice of Upper Perk wrestling and football which he committed his time to for almost 35 years. Tim's announcing skills allowed him to realize his passion that was clearly obvious by his uncanny imitations of Merle Reece, Tom McGinnis and Harry Kalas. His love of all Philly sports was second only to his love of family and friends and he will be missed dearly. Because of Tims impact on all of us this Go Fund Me page has been set up to help Tim's family to be able to handle the medical costs funeral charges and other expenses they will surely be facing.

The world will not see a man like Tim McDermott anytime soon. We miss and Love you Timmy!
