Roberto Martinez Memorial Funds

Hello, my name is Melissa “Missy”. It is with heavy heart I announce the passing of “Tio,” also known as Roberto Martinez. If you know me or you know my family, you know Tio. Hardworking, determined, and generous. Although he had little, his trust and faith in God were really something.

On September 21st, 2024, his heart stopped. He flatlined. After being brought back to life, it was only moments after he flatlined again. Given his age and the severity of his illness, his quality of life was critically, rapidly declining. At approximately 12:15 am, Sunday, September 22, 2024, he took his last and final breath. By his side were my mother Claudia and younger sister Yuryko “Moe Moe.”

I created this GoFundMe with hopes of being able to raise just enough to be able to cremate him and give him a decent farewell. He was well known in the Pilsen community as “THE BARBER” he was a barber all his life . It was his passion and he took so much pride in his job. Please leave the BARBER his last tip.
