Honoring Tom Swett: Help with Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Marnie, and I am trying to raise money to help my daughter and her fiancé's family with any unexpected expenses. We had to say goodbye to Tom Swett on Thursday (9/19/24). Tom was in a very tragic motorcycle accident on the previous Tuesday (9/10/24). Tom was with his fiancé, Jazlyn, for over 9 years with ups and downs, but so many more ups, love, caring, and compassion. I thought of Tom as a kind, compassionate, energetic, and fun-loving person who adored Jazlyn and would do anything for her. He was able to show the patience that was needed not only for her and her boys but the whole family. Tom served in the Marines and, after coming home, always had a job. He has paid his dues and, in the end, paid it forward yet again. Even though Tom was considered brain dead days before the final days we had with him, he was an organ donor, so he was kept alive until they could find recipients for his organs. He was able to donate and help out at least 8 other people. He was given the honor walk on his last day. A very hard walk but a walk to show him glory for being the kind, gentle human he was. What we are asking help for is for the cremation urns and funeral expenses along with a memorial plaque to hopefully put in his honor where his favorite fishing took place with his son.
A little about Tom is, of course, the fact that he liked fishing, and we are sure he is finding a crystal clear lake to fish in now. Tom also liked riding his motorcycle and the great outdoors. He would go on walks with his little family and their dog on trails around Boise. They would go swimming and paddleboard while Tom cruised around in his canoe. He would play video games with the boys and Pokémon Go.
With these funds, we are hoping to help Jazlyn with any added expenses she might come across with the funeral arrangements and a memorial plaque of some sort.
Thank you!!!
