Honoring Trey Hixson

Sadly, on December 23rd, we lost one of the happiest and kindest people I have ever met. Trey brought so much joy to those who were privileged enough to know him and he always carried a smile wherever he was or with whatever he was doing. Trey was completely devoted to his family as well as a loyal friend and protector.

He was most proud of his wife Jackie and his two beautiful children, Gio (4) and Mila (10 months).

Trey's work ethic was unmatched and he propelled to all different heights in the film industry as a grip, rigging grip and an assistant crane tech with Iatse Local 479. This sudden and unexpected loss brings many questions to his family, as Trey was the sole provider. His wife Jackie, who is a stay at home mother with a 10 month old infant and 4 year old toddler, will need all the support she can get to try and keep bills, food, and emergencies in check while she tries to navigate through this great loss.

I'm asking all of Trey's union brothers and sisters, friends, family and anyone who was privileged to know him, to come together and help his family during this hard time.
