Honoring Tyler: A Legacy of Love and Strength

Our beloved Robert “Tyler” Mitchell recently passed after his incredibly brave and hard fought battle with cancer. There was no greater warrior, and he was surrounded by all the love we could give. Tyler was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend who leaves behind his wife Jennifer, daughter Emma (9) and son Jacob (6).

Tyler was a fierce competitor in every aspect of his life and talents were never ending. He was an excellent athlete, creative, artistic, so smart, thoughtful, funny and had the most boisterous laugh that filled up an entire room. His nature was to be loyal and to love deeply. Above all Tyler was a family man, which included his tight knit group of friends. There was however no one he loved and adored more than Jen, Emma, and Jacob and was eternally grateful and proud of them.

We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support from our community during this difficult time. Many have asked how they can help us during this unimaginable tragedy. As a family our priority is Jen and the kids. Any support, through donations or sharing this page, would be most appreciated and provide ease to all as they navigate this loss.

Tyler’s service will take place from 12:30-1:30PM on Saturday, October 12th at the Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery in Lynnwood with a reception to follow.

Later that evening will be a Celebration of Life at Black Raven Brewing in Woodinville - 5PM.
