Honoring Venessa Cantu: Help Lay Her to Rest

Venessa Francesca Cantu was born September 1, 1983 and sadly passed away on September 22, 2024. She was warmly know as Venny to her family and friends. Knowing Venessa was a true blessing. Her warm spirit and kindness brightened every space she entered and she embraced everyone with love.

At the age of 20, her life took a tragic turn when she became an innocent victim of a devastating accident, leading to a six-month battle in the ICU for her survival. Although she emerged from that ordeal, she faced life in a wheelchair. A devoted follower of Christ, Venessa maintained incredible positivity and a radiant smile, never voicing complaints despite her challenges. Some of her favorite things included collecting Barbie’s, shopping (she loved clothes & jewelry), watching lifetime and scary movies, and enjoying her weekly McDonalds fries!

We were fortunate to share 21 more wonderful years with her until she earned her angel wings, leaving behind her devoted parents Silvano & Grace who have tirelessly cared for her.
