Honoring Vera Ivanov Benatovich: Support Her Legacy
Donation protected
My mother Vera Ivanov was born in Buffalo, New York on October eighth, 1952. Her family immigrated to the United States in 1950. She was the youngest of three sisters. Violet Kyryluk, who passed away July 28th, 2021, and Luba Ivanov. In September of 1984 she married my father Theodore (Teddy) Benatovich and together they moved to Florida and started a new chapter in their lives where they adopted two daughters. Alexandra Benatovich born in Lima, Peru and then 9 years later Anika Benatovich born in Mexico. My mom loved many things, listening to Sonny and Cher, eating a big cone of ice cream, swimming at the beach, but most importantly family trips to Disney World. She enjoyed the time we all got to spend together, watching us laugh and creating special memories. My mom passed away on July 28th, 2024. She held on for as long as she could because she did not want to leave her daughters. It was hard for her to let go and it was hard for us to let her go. She was laid to rest in the South Florida Jewish Cemetery next to my father where they will remain together and reunite in heaven. Any donations will be deeply appreciated. I will cherish the memories of her life and continue honoring her legacy as the strong woman that she was.
