Honoring Zainab's Memory

In the sacred name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ (Surely, we belong to Allah and to Him, we shall return).

Assalamu Alaikum (Peace be upon you),

With a heavy heart, I, Zainab Mansoori's brother, extend this humble tribute to celebrate the life of my beloved sister and to seek support during this challenging time. Zainab, a beacon of resilience and familial responsibility embarked on a journey to create a better life for herself and to provide unwavering support to our elderly parents. Unfortunately, her promising journey was abruptly cut short in a heartbreaking accident on her way to work.

Zainab and I formed a strong support system for our parents, navigating the challenges of a new country with grace and determination. Her life, filled with potential and dreams, was tragically ended, leaving our family grappling with grief and unexpected financial challenges. As our parents, new to this country, face the aftermath of this tragedy, I find myself the sole remaining support, shouldering the responsibility of managing the practicalities of funeral and burial arrangements, adding to the emotional strain.

Inspired by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

"مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ وَمَا زَادَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ" - رَوَاهُ مُسلم

"Sadaqa (charity) does not decrease wealth; God increases the honor of him who forgives, and no one humbles himself for God’s sake without God exalting him." (Narrated by Muslim)

In this time of grief and financial strain, I humbly appeal to our community for support. Your generous contributions will assist in covering the expenses associated with Zainab's burial, alleviating the financial burden on our family during this heartbreaking period
