Honoring Donna

Donna McNeill was an amazing woman who recently lost her long, brave battle against Cancer. She leaves behind a lot of wonderful memories, friends, and a beautiful family.  Anyone who knew Donna, knew how much she loved her children and how big her dreams were for her daughter, Jenna.   I have an idea of how we can all help those dreams come true, IN HONOR OF DONNA!!! A College Fund For Jenna!!
My name is Leanne and I am one of those friends that loved Donna so dearly.  Donna inspired me, as well as, many others to live life to the fullest. After a recent reading of WILD in our book club, I decided I wanted to accomplish a similar adventure of hiking/walking a huge number of miles down the California Coastal Trail.  Even thought many thought this was a crazy idea, Donna encouraged me and told me several times that if she could, she would do it with me!! I thought for sure Donna would be at the end of my 360 mile hike in July , cheering me on from the Huntington Beach Pier.   Now, we know she won't be there in body but she will be there in spirit and now, I know why I am supposed to do this walk...IN HONOR OF DONNA!!!
