In Honor Navy SEAL Charlie Keating
Donation protected
There are so many who fight for our freedom everyday. While we are enjoying our everyday life, there are warriors like Charlie who are fighting for our freedom and to protecct our country and help try and make peace in the world.
The least I could do was start a fundraiser and be able to give back in honor of those but especially my best friend Charles Humprhey Keating IV.
Donations will go to these two foundations in his name. Thank you for your support and honor and RIP C4! Charlie was a big supporter of One More Wave Corp. which is a foundation whose mission is to provide wounded or disabled veterans access to surfing by providing them with customized surfing equipment and assistance. The Navy Seal Foundation helps family's of wounded, fallen, and active deployed Seals. It also gives meals and support during holidays to families while their loved ones are defending our freedom. About Charlie:
On May 3rd, we lost a marvelous human being in the line of duty. My best friend Charles Keating IV, lost his life while in combat, in Iraq. Although his absence is unbearable, I cannot say that his death is a senseless one. He was a true hero. Charlie died fighting for something that he truly believed in: his country; something that meant more to him than I can comprehend. He was courageous, principled and dedicated to our safety and freedom.
Equally, he was full of light, love and laughter. He was the sparkle in alot of lives. He made our elders feel like kings and queens and made our children feel like they had the value and importance of being tomorrow's leaders. And the rest of us? ...the world stood still when we spent time with Charlie.
So many of us will be moving forward now with a hole in our hearts. My love goes out to ALL of Charlie's family, friends and fellow soldiers. Please, let's try to keep Charlie's spirit alive. Let's treat one another the way he treated all of us. Let's choose to honor his life in this way.
Thank you, Charlie, for your friendship, love and service. Thank you for making a difference. Thank you for all of those awesome memories, thank you for this ultimate sacrifice, but I wish we could all have you back.
Charlie was the true definition of an American Hero. Charlie once said " Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards. " That includes love for family, friends, and country. Charlie loved America more than anyone I ever met. He was a huge goofball who everyone wanted to be friends with. He was always smiling and happy.
Chuck loved to surf, was an adventurer, spearfished, and wanted to sail around the world. I am doing this fundraiser in honor of Charlie and to thank him for his service. Every time I see an American Flag, or hear the national anthem, it has a special meaning, but even more so now. I want to be able to give some support to those who help protect us and our country and do it in Honor and in name of my best friend Charlie Humphrey Keating IV.
The partner force fled and the NAVY SEALs held the line. Chuck was leading the fight as always. He went down with the big signature smile on his handsome face as always. Chuck was full of Aloha, but was also a ferocious warrior who killed dozens of Da'esh today to save his brothers and fight for his country.
