Honra la memoria de Rudy: Funeral y repatriación

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Jessenia y bueno, vengo ante todos ustedes para pedir de su ayuda a recaudar unos fondos para poder llevar a cabo un servicio funerario y por igual recaudar los fondos necesarios para poder mandar el cuerpo de quien en vida fue el hermanito de mi padrastro, que se llamaba Rudy Cinto Macario.

Lamentablemente, el viernes por la noche salió y no regresó a casa. El sábado por la mañana, el otro hermano de mi padrastro, con quien él vivía, lo encontró raro que Rudy no había regresado a dormir porque por igual dejó todas sus cosas en casa. Estuvimos buscando y teniendo la esperanza de que él iba a regresar o que lo íbamos a encontrar. Todavía no podíamos reportarlo a la policía porque no habían pasado las 24 horas. A la siguiente mañana hicimos el reporte, entonces la policía empezó a investigar y verificar las cámaras que había alrededor de donde él vivía y no encontraban nada, solo el momento en que él salió de casa. Trataron de rastrear sus pasos y lo más prudente para ellos era que él quizás se había caído o que estaba en el lago que está detrás de donde él vivía. Bueno, dijeron que iban a chequear esta mañana y ahí lo encontraron a 15 pies de donde él vivía.

Es muy duro para nosotros procesar todo esto que haya pasado, pero sabemos que en algún momento iba a pasar. Rudy, la verdad, llegó a este país hace 10 años. Él tenía 24 años al llegar y apenas el 17 de noviembre cumplió los 35 años. Todavía era joven. Él era bien gracioso y era un pedazo muy importante en mi familia. Para mis hermanitos, él era su tío favorito porque siempre les mostraba mucho amor y cariño. Cada persona que lo llegó a conocer sabía que él era muy gracioso y una persona de buen corazón.

Lo extrañaremos tanto a él, pero ahorita lo que más queremos es que él llegue con su mami que está muy quebrantada y esperando por él en Guatemala. Lo que nazca de sus corazones para ofrendar se los agradecería mucho de la profundidad de nuestros corazones por parte de mi familia y de mí. Hello everyone, my name is Jessenia and well, I come before all of you in need of your help in raising some money for a funeral service and to also raise the necessary funds to be able to send the body of who in life was the little brother of my stepfather, who was called Rudy Cinto Macario.

Unfortunately, on Friday night he left and did not return home. On Saturday morning, the other brother of my stepfather, with whom he lived, found it strange that Rudy had not returned to sleep because all his things were left at home. We were looking and hoping that he was going to return or that we were going to find him. We still couldn't report him missing to the police because it hadn't been past the 24-hour mark yet. The next morning, we made the report, then the police began to investigate and verify the cameras where he lived, and they didn't find much but only the moment that he left the house. They tried to trace his steps, and they concluded that he might have fallen or that he was in the lake behind where he lived. Well, yesterday, they said they were going to check this morning, and it saddens us, but they did find him in the lake 15 feet from where he lived.

It's very hard for us to process this situation, but we know that at some point it was going to happen. Rudy arrived in this country 10 years ago. He was 24 years old at the time of his arrival, and he recently turned 35 on November 17th. He was still young. He was very funny, outgoing, caring, and was a very important piece in my family. For my siblings, he was their favorite uncle because he always gave them a lot of love and affection. Every person who got to know him knew that he was very funny and a kind-hearted person.

We will miss him so much, but right now what we want most is for him to arrive with his mom, who is very broken and waiting for him in Guatemala.
