POSTPONED; HOODGANIZING, Richmond Youth Conference
Donation protected
Hello West Contra Costa Community,
Please read below for conference updates:
Due to impacts of COVID-19 that led to school closures, shelter in place, and public health concerns, our HOODGANIZING Richmond Youth Conference originally scheduled for Sat. March 28 is being POSTPONED until we are out of a shelter in place and are able to safely be inside a school building.
Our Hoodganizing planning team is having monthly virtual meetings to plan our next steps.
We will share a date, time, and location for our conference when we are able to finalize plans.
**Please note: Funds and resources donated by community will still be used to purchase supplies for the conference. We want to thank everyone who donated and has made it possible for us to dream and plan this conference.
We are committed to supporting youth organizers and their efforts and will continue to share resources to support youth and families through impacts of COVID-19 and beyond.
We wholeheartedly thank you for trusting us through this process.
