HOPE & HEALING FOR SAMANTHA & BABIES
On Thursday Feb 13th, my sister Samantha suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. She’s had surgery to try to reduce the swelling and take out blood clots on her brain. So far, she hasn’t been conscious. It’s really undetermined what will happen next. She will be sedated for the next six days in order to let her brain rest and to prevent further trauma.
She was victim to a horrific act of violence at the hands of a stranger. You can read more about the incident here: Fox 17 Article
My parents are now solely responsible for Samantha's two young children, ages 1 and 3. They are also responsible for all Samantha's accruing medical bills. They will have to take many days off work for Samantha's care and also for the care of the children.
Our mom, Michelle Sutherlin will be the recipient receiving the donations, as Samantha is not able.
Any help would be appreciated to help them during this difficult time. I know money is the last thing they are thinking about right now but I want to take one less thing off their shoulders if possible.
Also, please keep praying for Samantha to overcome this. She's a fighter!! We hope to have her back to her normal self, no matter how long it takes.
