Hope and Healing for Marialaina Kraft

Friends and family, 

Marialaina, Richie and Melissa are truly a gift to all who are lucky enough to know them. They are always there, not only for the ones they love, but for anyone who needs a lending hand or even a simple word of encouragement.  Now it is our turn to be there for them when they need it most.

Marialaina suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday, January 22nd, while visiting family in Port St. Lucie Florida.  Within a minutes notice, Melissa was on a plane to be by her mothers side.  Since that day, Marialaina has been fighting like the warrior she is and her family has been doing everything that they can to get her through this. On top of grueling work schedules, Richie and Melissa have decided to switch on and off weeks to fly down to Florida to be with her.  

Doctors are hopeful for her recovery, but the time has come to move Marialaina to a long term rehabilitation facility in West Palm Beach, which is 45 minutes away from her family. With medical and travel bills beginning to pile up, this is the time for help from anyone who has been fortunate enough to know Marialaina and her family. Once she becomes stable, arrangements can be made to fly her home to New York. As you can imagine, it is very expensive to fly her here with the equipment and doctors that she needs. 

So we are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for your help. As their friends, family, co-workers, and people dearest to them please know that every little bit can make a difference.
