Hope and Healing Jo Arbon’s Cancer Treatment Journey

Our friend Jo Arbon, living in Kerry, Ireland, is an active, independent 52 year old whose life was thrown sideways with a rare head and neck cancer diagnosis in November 2024.

Everyone who knows Jo will be aware that she is a friendly, positive person and a total ray of sunshine and fun. Since diagnosis, she had first line surgical treatment on December 20th 2024, which resulted in a challenging and painful recovery over Christmas.

Jo herself is an innovator and founder of the Holistic Hound company which uses traditional herbal remedies for canine health and well being. Given her holistic and herbal background, Jo is keen to embrace integrative treatments as part of her medical plan. Having researched extensively, she is about to embark on an immunotherapy and complementary treatment plan in the Vision of Hope Clinic in Brighton, UK.

This cutting edge approach has been clinically proven world wide in terms of managing and removing cancer from a patient. Some treatment plans include a combination of both immunotherapy and chemotherapy.

The initial investigations and treatments are costly and we have set up this fundraiser for anyone who would like to contribute to Jo’s recovery plan. She plans to document her treatment journey to help others to understand the various treatments available and for extra research into canine alternative therapies.

Jo’s husband Sean and her family and friends are fully supportive of her decisions and we are with her every step of the way.
