Hope and Homes for Children&Hart and Parker Trust

At Stormont School, our two school charities for this year (2022-23) are Hope and Homes for Children and The Hart and Parker Trust.

Hope and Homes for Children:

Fight for every child to feel the love and belonging of a safe family home. Since 1994, Hope and Homes for Children has been working to stop the institutionalisation of children. There are 200 people, in multiple countries, inspiring organisations, including the UN, EU and governments around the world, to close the doors of orphanages forever.

The Hart and Parker Trust:

Providing small, one-off grants to needy individuals or local non-profit making organisations in or around Potters Bar in Hertfordshire.

To raise funds, on Monday 6th March, the girls will all be taking part in a Sponsored 'The Floor is Lava' which will take place in our Sports Hall. The girls will be looking for sponsors for their efforts in completing the course. They will each tackle the 'Floor is Lava' for 30 minutes and can either be sponsored per lap completed, or a set amount for the full 30 minutes. All funds raised will be divided 50-50 between our two school charities.
