Hope Brennan’s Graduation birthday U.S. Army

Hi, my name is Cassandra Brennan. You may remember an article from my daughter, Hope Brennan almost two years ago! (I can’t believe it). My daughter asked to raise money to become an exchange student to the South of France, in which tragically ended when riots started in her town. These people were called “Les Gillet Jeune,” which means “The Yellow Vests.”

My daughter has taken it a step further, and has joined the U.S. Army to serve this great country. Hope has just graduated Citrus High with honors, and has made us extremely proud of her accomplishments and self dedication.

Because her graduation was tragically taken from her. I would like to go to Missouri (where her base is located) to watch her graduate from Basic Training. I also have the opportunity to take her to Texas where she will complete Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in the medical branch. Her dream is to become a dermatologist and to travel the world. She plans to become an officer and go to John Hopkins University, she has planned to specialize in cancer (because of my battle against cancer, and her great-grandfather’s). She plans to minor in French so that she can continue to learn the language and have a deeper understanding of the culture.

Hope has the biggest and most selfless heart I have ever seen and I am so incredibly sad to not give her everything she needs plus more. And I am trying to help her as much as I possibly can. She has worked so hard to improve herself one step at a time and I couldn’t be anymore proud of her. Hope works diligently to overcome any obstacle in her path, from battling my addiction with me, to being bullied in school, to now working as hard as possible to get to college, working on her self-discipline, and serving her country the best she possibly can.

The only problem is, I am cash limited. I would need to rent a car to see her (because my truck is not in great shape to drive across the country). And here’s where your help could make this (not so) little girl’s dreams come true.

I would like to drive her to Texas and give her a special treat since her birthday will be in Basic Training. (The big 18!). Anything would help me, I am a painter I am willing to paint in exchange for helping my daughter. Anything would help. The money is going  for travel expenses renting a car, gas, food and hotel stay. Thank you
