I bet there’s not one person who reads this who doesn’t know someone who struggles with their mental health x

I’ve struggled with mental health issues my whole life x

Ironically I was a psychiatric nurse for 15 years

which gave me a professional insight into the lack of provision for people like me x

When my mental health became too bad due to the multiple deaths in our family in such a short space of time , cumulating with the death of my son I was admitted several times to psychiatric hospitals and I still have a cpn and psychiatrist x

Im not saying these professionals don’t have a place , they do and I will continue to take the minimal support that they can offer x

However it has become apparent to me that we need more than what these services can offer x

Friends and family would say to me why don’t you try counselling but my response was always I couldn’t afford it until I came across HOPE COUNSELLING! They are a non profit organisation set up to give expert counselling by fully qualified counsellors Doctors and therapist at a minimal cost based on income x

( I don’t work and they charge me £5 a session)

“less than a trip to McDonald’s “x I am still receiving counselling from them and have currently had 5 sessions and I can honestly say these sessions have been more insightful and therapeutic than any professional service I have ever been involved in x

Maybe if there were more services like this one my brother , sister , and son wouldn’t have died?
