Hope for a HUGE HEART!

Hello, my name is Melissa Holtz, owner and operator of Story Book Kids Childcare Center. Lisa Pierschalla and her husband, Jim have been a part of our SBK family for the past 6 years. Recently Jim's health has deteriorated, resulting in the loss of his employment(he was employed with this company for 25 years). A little health history behind this: 2015 a AAA dissection (an aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection), 2017 a heart valve replacement April 2022, 2 more aneurysms leading to further repair and dissection( a 20hr surgery,) Aug 2022 yet another aneurysm repair and stint placement, bringing us to date, now Nov 2022 the stint and mitral valve are both leaking and need repair. This will be the 4th open heart surgery in 7 years. Jim is 61 years old; he and Lisa have spent their lives always taking care of their friends, neighbors, children, and strangers. Lisa spends countless hours teaching in the one-year-old room, selflessly providing care for our most prized possessions. Jim and Lisa are now trying to get by on one income, the income of the childcare provider. Medical bills are piling up, and Jim is nowhere close to the end of this journey. I can" t think of a better time than NOW to give a little HOPE to the HUGE hearts of the Pierschalla family!
