Hope For Ashlyn Hope

Donation protected
My name is Jaime Baker.   I am an aunt to  5 year old Ashlyn Hope Perkins.  Ashlyn's parents are Justin and Julie Perkins.    Ashlyn has two brothers, Liam is 13 and Braylon is 7.    I'm lucky enough to live a few minutes away from them in Raleigh, NC.  Ashlyn is a lover of princesses, baby dolls, digging for worms, art, and all things makeup and glamour.  The week of May 15th, Ashlyn started experiencing pain in her belly, Julie had a feeling something wasn't right and thankfully took her to the pediatrician.  After an Xray and an ultrasound, they were told that she has a 10cm mass on her kidney and was diagnosed with having a  Wilms Tumor.   Ashlyn had surgery on Monday, May 18th to have a port inserted and began chemotherapy the next day.  She had 5 weeks of chemo and another surgery on June 25th.  When they opened her up, they discovered that chemo didn't work, the tumor had grown, and that they didn't know what Ashlyn had inside of her.  After a week of waiting for pathology results to come back, we learned that Ashlyn has been diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma.   She will have 12-15 months of treatment.  Treatment includes 5 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove what's left of the cancer, 2 stem cell transplants, and much more.   Julie lost her job due to the fact that it is impossible to work and take care of Ashlyn.  Justin works in a restaurant, but can't work right now because it takes both of them to take care of Ashlyn as well as do virtual online school (due to coronavirus, both boys are doing virtual learning).    A cancer diagnosis is horrible, getting a cancer diagnosis in the midst of a pandemic is even worse.   Justin, Julie , Ashlyn Braylon, and Liam need lots of love and support.   The last thing they need to worry about is finances when they are using all their energy to save Ashlyn's life.    I want to ask you to help The Perkins Family.   The hospital bills , gas, and lots of other expenses will quickly pile up and financial support is  needed.  Justin is listed as the beneficiary so he can do what he can to support his family.  Please donate whatever you can and send lots of love and prayers our way.  Ashlyn is a trooper and the strongest little girl I know.  If anyone can handle this, she can!  Let's all have hope for Ashlyn Hope!
