Hope for Auree: Donate to a life-saving medicine & treatment

My name is Auree.

I am now 6 years old. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Group 3 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma on my face and neck in 2021. That means I had a face and neck cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes. In 2021, I was only 3 years old. But, I remember being brave and trying to be strong for chemotherapy. My mommy did her best to advocate for me to get surgery early on my face before my cancer grew too big. I have been to many hospitals for treatments, fighting for the best options for my cancer. Unfortunately, surgery wasn't done until 2024. By this time, my cancer seems to have gotten more aggressive, and resistant to radiation, and more chemotherapy.

Right now, my cancers have spread even more to my eye, my cheek, my neck under my chin, my chest, and my leg. As of a few weeks ago, the doctors are saying the cancer may take my life. This news is very hard on me, and my family. I am fighting to explore any possible option or alternative that may give me the best chance to fight for my life. I have been strong for 4 years fighting cancer, and I am not ready to die, or give up just yet.

My mommy and I are exploring any and all options for doctor specialists, new clinical trials, or new procedures from expert doctors across the nation, and around the world. We are looking high and low for new treatments that might give me a chance to live. There is a new medicine and procedure from an expert doctor that might give me a chance with my cancer. I am asking for help donations from our friends, family members, from my school and teachers, from my neighborhood, church, extended family, any kind person, families, facility or organizations capable of donating towards a medical treatment I need that may give me a chance to live.

I may not have much time left with my cancer.

But no matter what happens, I am grateful for my family, and any kind-hearted person, families, or organizations that will help towards donating to my new treatment to help me fight for what might be my last chance to live.

I have a little brother, a big sister, and my mommy who love me very much. I know my mommy is trying her best to raise the funds for the new treatment trial, but the new medicine that might help me will cost almost $40,000, including extensive travel expenses.

I am not giving up.

My mommy is not giving up on me... but she needs help and cannot afford the new medicine for me by herself.

Since Auree's cancer diagnosis in 2021, he has changed so much physically from various conventional medical treatments. We've shared some pictures with donors below- although he may not look the same, his heart, spirit, and mind still remain innocent, he still remains a beautiful baby boy who deserves a chance at life. Auree has always been so brave, and full of energy through many cancer treatments. Some days are harder than others. Some days, he has difficulty eating and chewing food. Other days, he has facial pain around his cheeks, his jaw, in his leg (including knee , and ankle pain), extensive headaches, and at times he is unable to stand or walk, and just wants to lay down with his head on your chest. Auree is so determined to fight this; he bounces back full of energy trying to play and run with his brother and sister....until he doesn't feel good again. Childhood cancer is a catastrophe to all the lives of children it impacts...all the families that are dealing with childhood cancer. Despite Auree's pain, despite his cancer taking over, Auree still wants to fight, and is asking for help to fight- he can not fight this alone.

Auree looked at me, and said, "Mommy, I am strong. I can handle any treatment you find for me". His words brought me to more tears. Despite my pain as a mom, I am determined to wipe my tears, and not give up on treatments because Auree isn't giving up.
