Just before the holidays My stepson David was diagnosed with EWINGS SARCOMA ...the cancer is in his leg.
David is the middle child of 3.
He loves Dinosaurs, video games and watching reruns of Hank Hill episodes with his father Jason and I at the yurt. He lives at home with his mom Jennifer, and siblings Cameron, Phoebe and pet dog Bruce.
He is quiet, caring, loving, smart, funny...and up until recently fearless boy.
His fears are that the needles would hurt or that he didn’t want to lose his hair or his leg.
David will receive chemo therapy for approximately 30 weeks with a brief pause for surgery and/or radiation in April. Luckily, David’s 4 chemo drugs are covered by Alberta Health. Unfortunately, some of David’s other medications and expenses are not covered at all or are only covered by private insurance at 80%. Of course; having an ill child entails many expenses and your generosity will go a long way in deferring the many financial stresses of David’s cancer journey.”
Plz feel free to share this link with your friends. A little always goes a long way.
From the bottom of our hearts we say Thank you and just hug your loved ones.
