Hope for Gaza's Children: A Fundraiser for Families in Need

Our names are Nagiha Sahyouni and Sylwia Krolczyk, and we are organising a fundraiser for a cause close to our hearts.

As of 08/09/2024 we have successfully fundraised

$500 US, which is between $790 - $820 AUD (not including the additional funds we send to cover transaction fees and withdrawal fees) for 36 families and a vegetable and water distribution to feed 100 families. We are also distributing diapers and formula in the South ❤️

Purpose:

This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $500 USD ($790 AUD) for each child in need. Once we raise the required amount for one child, we begin the campaign for the next child. This sequential approach ensures that each child receives the full benefit of the funds raised, enabling us to make a meaningful impact one child at a time.

Our why:

Many families find themselves struggling to provide the necessary care and support for their sick children amidst a backdrop of economic challenges and limited resources. This is a call to action, a plea for help, and an opportunity to extend a hand of compassion to those who need it most.

Imagine the anguish of a parent watching their child suffer, knowing that the medicine they need is out of reach, or the treatment they require is simply unattainable due to financial constraints. In Gaza, this is not just a heartbreaking story—it's a reality faced by many.

This fundraiser, "Hope for Gaza's Children," is dedicated to alleviating some of this burden. Our goal is to raise funds that will be directly distributed to families of sick children in Gaza, providing them with the means to access medical care, medication, and other essential needs.

How Funds Will Be Distributed

The funds raised will:

1. Transferred to the family’s bank account where they can directly access the funds.

2. Transferred to a bank account nominated by the family.

3. Transferred to our friend in Gaza, Deir Al Balah, who will cash out the funds and coordinate with the family for pickup.
