Hope for Glenda - pancreatic cancer relief
Donation protected
If you've had the privilege of meeting our mom (Glenda Jackson), you know that she loves hard, and her family and friends mean everything to her. She's the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back even if it's the last thing she had, and she would never ask for anything in return.
We recently learned that our mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was in the hospital for almost two weeks before we found out because she did not want us to worry about her. Luckily, she caught it pretty early and has a good chance at fighting this. She has surgery scheduled for April 1 to remove the tumor, and then will begin chemo and radiation shortly after.
Unfortunately, her insurance does not kick in until July of this year. Our mom has always been there for us, and now we want to be there for her. She has a long road ahead of her and having thousands of dollars in medical bills is not going to make this process any easier. The $5,000 we are hoping to raise will not even begin to cover the burden of these costs, but we have to start somewhere.
We understand that times are hard for a lot of people right now. So if you are not able to donate, please share. We will never be able to thank ya'll enough for the amount of love, prayers, and generosity you all have shown our family since finding out this news.
