Hope for my Son: Stem Cell Rescue & High Dose Chemotherapy
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
Many of you know me as Auntie Lou, the one who bakes with love, shares cake tutorials, and finds joy in creating something sweet for others, even during hard times. For years, I’ve poured my heart into my craft and into helping others celebrate life’s special moments. I’ve recently been recovering quietly from my own struggles, trying to rebuild and return to what I love.
But life has its own plans.
Today, I’m setting aside that familiar role and simply reaching out as a mother. A mother who is now knocking on your hearts.
My 25-year-old son has been fighting cancer. He’s already gone through 4 cycles of chemotherapy and endless hospital visits. But recently, his latest scan brought devastating news, the cancer has now spread to his abdomen, liver, and lungs. His doctors have confirmed that the only hopeful option left is high-dose chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant.
We were given this report (see image below), which says the cancer is active in multiple organs.
• The tumor has spread to his abdomen and lymph nodes,
• His liver now has cancerous masses,
• And small nodules in his lungs are believed to be metastatic as well.
We were advised that this treatment is urgent and life-saving. But the cost is overwhelming: ₱1.5 to ₱3 million in Philippines far beyond what a single mother can afford. We’ve already exhausted all we have.
And so, with all humility, I’m reaching out not as Auntie Lou, but as a mother asking for your prayers, your help, and your kindness.
If you’re able to help in any way whether through a donation or by sharing this post please know that it would mean the world to us. Every little bit brings us closer to giving him the fighting chance he deserves.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being with us during this fight. From one parent to another, from one heart to another,
my sincere thank you.
Lou
