Help Thep Fight MFS

On February 28th our brother Thep, a very healthy, hard-working dad, loving husband, and good friend, was suddenly struck with a devastating and rare medical condition known as Miller Fisher syndrome resulting in total paralysis. It has left him the inability to move his extremities independently, requiring the need for 24hr care.

The hospital discharged him on 3/19, with a feeding tube for nourishment as he is still unable to swallow or move. He requires 24/7 care from his wife and immediate family. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family's support during this time.

Thep is in good spirits but his condition has added a tremendous strain to his family. The financial strain in particular has been the most substantial. His disability benefits will cover only part of his lost income and his wife Noi cannot return to work until he recovers enough to not require her constant care. With the compounding hospital/home healthcare costs combined with the lost income to cover mortgage and living expenses, Thep needs all the help he can get.
