Hope for Henley - in memory of Ethan Houck
Donation protected
Some of you reading this might already know what I'm about to share, but some of you may not. On March 13th, 2020 this world became a little darker. It's hard to even type, but that day was Ethan Houck's last day on this earth with us. The family has asked for privacy regarding the details at this time, instead let's offer our prayers, support, and condolences.
If you were blessed to have ever met Ethan or have him as a part of your life, then you know first hand how quickly his smile would light up any room he walked in. It almost felt like Ethan had made it his mission to make the people around him smile or laugh and man was he good at it. He cared so deeply about his friends and he would be the first one to offer the shirt off his back to you. He fiercely loved his family and little girl Henley with his entire being. Ethan's priority was always supporting his family, so now let's make it ours.
Due to this tragedy, I have reached out to his family asking if I could start this GoFundMe page. They said yes, under one circumstance...all the proceeds go directly to support Henley for her future.
If you had the honor of knowing Ethan, then you know he would have helped you, if you were in need. So let's all come together as a community and provide some financial security for his little girl, Henley. Even if you can only spare a few dollars, it all adds up.
You can donate here (they do withhold a small percentage) or directly to his sister, Rachel Houck, via PayPal or Venmo using her email [email redacted].
The family will be holding a celebration of life Saturday, March 21st, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Turners. Please join us in celebrating Ethan's life.
If you have any pictures of him, him and his daughter, him and you, or any pictures reminding you of him, please send them to Rachel at [email redacted]. Thanks!
