Hope for Henry: The Journey Home

Greetings family and friends,

As many of you know, our father Henry Sanders Jr. has been incarcerated for many years. 14 years to be exact. Our father’s past has not been without struggle. He has faced deep battles with addiction, and the road has been long and difficult. But, we stand today as witnesses to God’s mercy and grace. Even in the darkest seasons we’ve seen the hand of the Lord at work, never letting go. We believe with all our hearts that God has a greater purpose for his life. His story is not over, because the same God who redeems, restores, and makes all things new is still writing it. What the enemy meant for harm, God will use for good- to bring hope, healing, and testimony to others through his journey.

Our father has served as the assistant pastor in the prison ministry for nearly 10 years. Over the past two years, he has stepped into the role of Lead pastor, ministering to and guiding hundreds of fellow inmates. Throughout this time, he has been a powerful example of transformation, faith, and resilience- a constant beam of love and hope to everyone he encounters.

We’re reaching out with hope in our hearts and a deep belief in second chances. We’re now fighting for a chance to give him toward freedom and recovery through a drug rehabilitation program that he is now eligible for. To do this, we humbly ask for your support through a love offering to help contribute to his legal expenses. His legal team is working tirelessly to give him a real chance at freedom. Not just from prison, but from the cycle of addiction. Our hope is for him to be given the opportunity to enter this program and begin the journey of true healing and restoration.
