Issiah's Journey—A Remarkable Fight

At the tender age of 13, Issiah confronted a mysterious illness that turned out to be a formidable adversary, “brain cancer”. Despite initial misdiagnoses, Issiah's courage prevailed, leading to a successful battle against the disease with the help of the Saint Jude program. He emerged triumphant, pursuing his dreams as a college student majoring in Cybersecurity while working towards a bright future.

The Unexpected Turn—A Relentless Foe Returns

Regrettably, in October 2023, the devastating news hit - the cancer had returned, this time more aggressively. A large tumor on his spine required immediate surgery, but the surgeon couldn't remove all the cancer without paralysis. The pathology report revealed stage 3 ependymoma leading to an urgent need for an aggressive radiation treatment plan, physical therapy, and ongoing medical care.

Current Challenges—A Financial Struggle

As Issiah battles for his life, he is determined to stand defiant against this relentless foe again. He faces physical challenges and substantial financial burdens. Medical bills, daily expenses, and the impediment to his ability to work due to treatment demand. Unfortunately, complications such as an infected surgical wound and the spread of the cancer to his lymph nodes have added to the complexity of his situation.
