Hope for Lacey

Donation protected

It’s hard asking for help, but sometimes it’s something you have to do.

Lacey is a new mom to a 2 month old, and has been in the hospital 2 weeks now. What started as gallstones turned into necrotizing pancreatitis (most of her pancreas dying and the rest of what remains not functioning). It was one complication after another, including a feeding tube being placed for an unknown amount of time and regaining her strength to walk again.

Being hospitalized Lacey has had to stop breastfeeding and be away from her daughter (nothing a new mom wants to be forced to do). Lacey will be in the hospital until at least next week and when she gets to go home will have a lot of life changes to manage as well as surgeries to come. Lacey will not be returning to work for some time until her health and body stabilizes and will now be insulin dependent for the rest of her life.

Reid and Lacey have bills from just having their beautiful daughter Hadley, and as we can all imagine her staying in the hospital isn’t going to be cheap and any help would mean a lot to Lacey and her family.

Please keep Lacey in your thoughts and prayers, and like I have told Lacey this is just a little curve in the adventure she still has ahead of her.
