Hope For Lolly Fighting Breast Cancer Stage 4

My mum Lorraine Beuttell, known to everyone as ‘Lolly’, has been fighting breast cancer for the past two years. My mum underwent lumpectomy surgery to remove the cancer in her breast. Some months later she received the agonising test results showing that the cancer had returned to her lymph nodes. Her lymph nodes were subsequently removed from her armpit. Following that surgery she was elated to be told that the cancer had gone. After tests a year down the line mum was told that the cancer had returned once more, this time in three places in the original breast. This resulted in mum having a mastectomy six weeks ago. Once more she was then told she was cancer free and then, two days ago, had the shattering news that her cancer has spread to her spine and pelvic area.

Unfortunately the NHS are not able to offer my mum lifesaving treatment and have said there is nothing more they can do for her. However, having researched the type of cancer mum has, we have found a treatment (Dendritic cells therapy) that could save mum' s life. The treatment would need to be carried out in Germany and the cost would be 30,000 GBP.

The reason for setting up this page is to give mum the chance to be cancer free. All her life my mum has done nothing but help others, including taking in neighbours and feeding and clothing strangers, despite not having a lot herself. She would do anything for anyone and would give away her last pound. Lolly is a Mum, Nan, Sister, Aunty, and Friend, and anyone who has seen friends or family fight this horrendous disease will know how much pain and suffering this causes to families.

I would owe you my mum’s life and will be eternally grateful. My mum is always there for everyone else and it would be nice if we could all come together for her in her time of need.
