Hope for Savannah: Critical Spinal Surgery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Savannah, and I’m reaching out to share a deeply personal part of my journey.
I’ve been diagnosed with a complex combination of conditions, including ME/CFS, POTS, Fibromyalgia, AAI/CCI, MCAS, and Tethered Cord Syndrome. These illnesses have drastically changed my life. I was once full of energy—constantly moving, creating, and exploring the world. But over the years, these conditions have taken much of that from me.
Now, at 34, I’m holding onto a beacon of hope! I finally have a surgical date: August 18th! I’ll be heading to Oregon for tethered cord release surgery—an operation that will untether my spinal cord from abnormal attachments pulling it down and causing serious nerve damage, pain, and neurological issues.
This surgery is a huge step toward giving me some quality of life back. It’s also a big journey—my sister and I will be traveling out of state for the procedure, and between current and more to come medical bills, travel costs, and recovery costs, we could really use some help. Your support means the world to me. Whether it’s through a donation, sharing my story, or simply sending love and encouragement, I can’t express how much I appreciate every bit of it.
When the big day comes, I’ll be holding onto the strength and kindness you’ve given me. Thank you for standing by me during one of the most challenging—and hopeful—times of my life. You’re helping me move toward a future where I can once again live with more freedom, joy, and possibility.
With endless gratitude,
Savannah
