Hope For Tina

We are on a mission to make a difference for our community by donating up to $20 in YOUR name to help a woman and her family through their battle with cancer. In August of 2014, the Hammond family began their journey for Tina Hammond, battling stage 3 ovarian cancer.

Tina and Tim have been married for 19 years as of May 2018 and have a son that they adopted from China in 2009. After a routine surgery, doctors found cancer almost everywhere.  A month later, they were in Birmingham, removing as much as they could surgically. Two months later, Tina started chemo and underwent 18 treatments. Just when they thought it was over, after 16 months, Tina’s doctors found more. She underwent another surgery and rounds of chemo, but had an unfortunate reaction and has now been put on TPN nutrition. “We know how strong our community is and believe that we can rally together to help make a difference.”

Now on her second round of cancer, traveling back and forth to the cancer center for treatment, Tina and the Hammond family are in need of our help. With the help of your recommendation, we are hoping to alleviate some of the financial pressure so that Tina can focus on her health.
