Hope Is All They Have Left

Hi. My name is Erla. My husband and I are doing this fundraising for our nephews and siblings in Haiti who will soon migrate to America.
Haiti’s president was assassinated on 7/7/2021. Since then, the people of Haiti has been undergoing continued social unrest filled with gang violence, kidnapping, atrocious killings, skyrocketing inflation, worsening unemployment, worsening poverty, and extreme hunger. Because of this, President Biden has implemented a humanitarian parole program that allows Haitians living in the U.S to sponsor their family members to come here to the U.S (temporarily for 2 years) to escape the inhumane living conditions.
My husband and I are sponsoring 8 members of our families (6 pictured here) consisting of nephews and siblings. We desire only to help them escape the despair and dangerous conditions that they are currently living in. These are our nephews and siblings in search of a means to a better life. A means to live as humans in dignity. A means to come and work to better their lives and in turn help better the lives of those they leave behind.
Upon arrival to the U.S, they will not be able to work immediately as their work permit will take a minimum of 3-6 months according to USCIS current processing time. Therefore, your generous donations will help them with getting their work permit which is $410 per person ($3,280) according to USCIS filing fee, and securing two, 2-bedroom apartments for them (average of $1000-1300 per month), as well as food, cold weather clothing, furniture, transportation, and other necessary and unexpected expenses.
Thank you kindly in advance for your generosity. God bless.
