Hope of Life for Milly

Hello, my name is Milexa Diaz, and this fundraising is to help me pay for my treatment to have a chance to live and a better quality of life.

After a visit to an emergency room on March 1st 2022, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage IV. Two tumors were found one of 11 cm on the right ovary and 7 cm on the left ovary. I was referred to a specialist. On March 3rd a paracentesis procedure was performed, and the result from pathology discovered that the cancer was originated in the appendix and metastasized to the ovaries and the right side of the colon; and a 4mm subpleural nodule on the right lung. On March 16th I had a major surgery; a Histeroctomy and an Appendectomy was done. I will have 12 sessions of Chemotherapy. Another major surgery is on the table after the Chemos and it will be for a Colectomy.

Hola, mi nombre es Milexa Diaz, y esta recaudación de fondos es para ayudarme a  pagar mi tratamiento para tener un chance de vivir y  una mejor calidad de vida.

Después de una visita a una sala de emergencias el 1 de marzo de 2022, me diagnosticaron cáncer de ovario en etapa IV. Se encontraron dos tumores de 11 cm en el ovario derecho y 7 cm en el ovario izquierdo. El 3 de marzo me remitieron a un especialista, se me realizó un procedimiento de paracentesis y el resultado de la anatomía patológica descubrió que el cáncer se originó en el apéndice y metástasis en el ovario y el lado derecho del colon y un nódulo subpleural de 4 mm en el pulmón derecho. El 16 de marzo tuve una cirugía mayor una histerectomía y una apendicectomía; me haran 12 sesiones de quimioterapia y otra cirugía mayor está sobre la mesa esto será para una colostomia completa.
