Hope on Wheels - Ambulances for Ukraine

As a former astronaut, Space Shuttle pilot, and International Space Station (ISS) commander who spent over seven months in space, I have a unique perspective on global events, having witnessed them unfold from orbit. Since my return from space, I don’t just look at the world differently; I look at my own role in it differently. I want to do something practical to help people in need, and helping Ukraine get these badly needed ambulances is something tangible I can do. I am incredibly fortunate to be joining a mission delivering ambulances to Ukraine with Ukraine Focus, an NGO based in Washington, DC that has already delivered 224 medical vehicles over the past few years to those in need. One medical vehicle alone saves on average 250 lives, aiding in the evacuation of civilians. Any donations to this incredible group would be greatly appreciated.
