Hope - School therapy dog
Donation protected
Meet Hope, the extraordinary therapy dog born blind in one eye but overflowing with love!
Hope was birthed by our dog Miley and therefore initially our own pup. She was named in the hope that someone would offer her a loving home. Despite tireless efforts, no one came forward. Unable to put down a healthy dog, we decided to keep her and saw the incredible potential she had to bring joy.
We offered her and, subsequently donated her to the Children’s school as a therapy dog, she loves going to school every day and coming home to us in the evening! Being blind in 1 eyes does not phase her at all!
Unfortunately as her eye counts as a pre existing medical condition so, it is not covered in any pet insurance. Even if it did it would be a minimum of 2 years before any claim could be put in… it may cover her spaying as this is a recommendation due to the eye! Believe me we searched high and low on insurance when insuring her and not one company would cover the eye removal so…
Now, we're seeking your support for her eye removal surgery, which is recommended to ensure no further complications in the future and therefore ensuring she continues to be a beacon of hope and comfort for the children in our school.
Let's give Hope the gift of surgery and keep her brightening lives!
Your support can make a world of difference as we aim to raise funds for the necessary eye removal surgery.
Let's ensure our furry friend continues spreading joy and comfort to the children in our school community.
Together, we can open a new chapter of possibilities for our resilient and affectionate companion.
