Hope for Mary and Roger

Roger has been on hospice care since March 2015 due to COPD, congestive heart failure, and many other medical issues. Mary was just diagnosed with stage 3 adenocarcinoma of the lung and lymph nodes in December 2015. Our family has endured several struggles and tragedies in 2015, including a tragic accident, causing the death of my cousin in February, learning that my dad was being placed in hospice care in March, my dad breaking his leg in May, the devastating passing of my brother due to a brain tumor in November, and finally, my mom's diagnosis of lung cancer in early December. 2015 was most definitely the toughest, saddest year for our family. My parents have, and would, give the shirts off their backs to help anyone in need. Through their lives they have helped people in their time of need in many ways, including, but not limited to, financially, with a place to stay, provided them with jobs, and have even been foster parents to several children. Now, the tables have turned, and they are in need of help, as my mom and dad both have serious illnesses, and piling expenses. My mom has had to take a lot of time off work over the past year for my dad's health needs. She needs to work for the insurance to cover prescriptions and medical care. While she is at work, he has a full-time caregiver, which is not covered at all by insurance. This is a HUGE financial burden. We're so grateful that he is able to be at home, in his familiar surroundings, during this last leg of the journey of his life. However, it does come with expenses, that are growing and growing. If you can, and would, please help in any way at all. The money from your donation will go toward their medical expenses, caregiver expenses, and basic living expenses.
