In Loving Memory of Sandy

Sandy went into the hospital the week of Thanksgiving with labored breathing from Covid. She was passed the point of receiving antibody treatment but we were hopeful she would recover. Over a couple weeks she fought so valiantly to remain off the ventilator, but on December 15th she coded and they had to intubate.

Her odds for survival are slim, yet she continues to astound the nurses! The whole staff is in awe of her. Her organs are ok and stable (which is a miracle because they were supposed to be shot), and her heart rate would increase in response to Chris when he talked to her.

We are praising God for another day and are asking God for her miraculous healing.

The money raised here will help Chris as he is unable to work, taking care of their two boys, Abraham (8) and Isaiah (2), and managing hospital bills.

Sandy was the very first young mom to move into the Room for Me house with her son Abraham. She lived in the house for 4 years as she finished college, and raised her son while working two jobs and being a Younglives volunteer (ministering to girls like her). Her senior year of college, she married the most incredible young man of God and they had a baby a year later. They were so grateful for how the Lord used the RFM house to heal her heart, so they decided as a family to move back in and run the home themselves.
